A discussion hw

For this week’s Discussion Post, we will work to deepen our understanding of key concepts around literacy.  First, read through the “Lecture” and brainstorm a list of discourse communities you belong to, or want to belong to. Then, explain the concepts of Literacy/literacies, Discourse(s), Discourse Community, meta-knowledge, and apprenticeship in your own words using one or more of your discourse communities as an example. Work to understand these concepts the best you can, but it’s okay if you don’t “get” all of it and feel free to post questions.

Aim for producing about 350 words or more on your original post.
