A dairy scientist is testing a new feed additive.  She chooses 10 cows at random from a large population of cows.  She feeds the cows on the new diet, and will recommend the diet if at least half the cows on the new diet produce 45 or more pounds of milk on the testing day.  The production results on the testing day are: 43;44;38;40;47;85;58;75;51;35

(a)  State hypotheses appropriate to the research question.

(b)  Graph the data as you see fit.  Why did you choose the graph(s) that you did and what does it (do they) tell you?

(c)  Choose a test appropriate for the hypotheses above, and justify your choice based on your answers to parts (a) and (b).  Then perform the test by computing a p-value, and making a reject or not reject decision with significance level a=0.05 Finally, state your conclusion in the context of the problem.
