The play Fences contains many dramatic scenes.  However, one of the most important revolves around Alberta.  Who is Alberta and how does her existence impact the world of the play?  Is she ever on stage in the play?   Should Alberta have been on stage?  Why or why not?

Pretend that you are writing a sequel to the play Fences.  If you were to write a sequel to Fences, what would it be about?  What would you focus on?  What would happen in your continuation of the play?
