IKEA is located nearby the our campus. The IKEA Group of companies has a total of 190 stores in 30 countries, employing over 85,000 people across the globe. Approximately 260 million people a year visit an IKEA store.

Visit the IKEA store nearby our campus and look for the ways in which IKEA implements and benefits from (mostly) solid business decisions, systems, strategies, etc. How does IKEA exemplify the concepts and strategies we’ve discussed in class? How does their strategy differ from other similar retail operations that you have visited? What bad decisions, in your opinion, hurt IKEA with its customers.

Write a detailed, minimum three page, SINGLE SPACED, (no larger than 11pt font) reflection of your IKEA experience. Before turning in the assignment, be sure to attach/include a picture of you clearly inside an IKEA. This picture must be unambiguously clear, since this will serve as your proof-of-visit.
