Describe the characteristics of groups during the final stage. Discuss the role of group leaders throughout this transition and specific interventions to address unfinished business, feelings of separation, and exercises to continue positive behavioral change outside of sessions.

Discuss the significance and adaptation of treatment planning in group counseling. Evaluate the appropriate use of contracts, homework, support services, and other action-oriented tasks to increase the likelihood of group efficacy. Incorporate the assigned readings into your discussion.
