9-2 Presentation: Sport Tourism

Develop a proposal for Chesapeake, VA to host a sport event that would be interesting to people worldwide. The intended audience is the chamber of commerce or other town officials. What programs would you develop to boost interest? Think through all of the contributing aspects such as food, retail, fan development, physical location, and so on. You will have 10 minutes to sell your idea (10–12 slides) and should include voice narration in your presentation (refer to the links in the Module Resources for more information).
