In Week 2, you submitted the central focus for a possible action research study along with
a rationale for that study. Remind us about your topic by describing the study in a
sentence or two and then talk about how you see the feasibility for such a study by
applying the questions posed in this week's overview:
● A problem is identified by a researcher or the people experiencing the problem.
● The problem is social in nature and calls for collective action to reach a solution.
● The researcher may initiate a collective approach to problem, or the group
experiencing the problem seeks out a researcher to assist them.
What would it take to make this study happen?

Using Stringer and Aragon's (2021) "look, think, act" model, present an initial plan for your
action research with justification for your plan. Address the following questions:
● How feasible is your study?
● What additional literature will you need to search?
● What research methods might you employ and why?
● Who are your participants?
● How will data be gathered?
● What are your anticipated outcomes and action?
● What are the ethical concerns that need consideration?
As you develop your plan, make sure to consult the literature on the research method you
intend to employ to support your plan.
Requirements
Using PowerPoint or another application that allows you to create a graphic (like an
infographic creator, such as Canva), present the plan and conceptual model for your study.
You can use the "Notes" function in PowerPoint to explain your slides or describe the
detail in a presentation if you are using Canva or another application that allows for the
creation of an infographic. If the application does not allow for notes, please include a
paragraph or two explaining your plan. Your slides or graphic should include:
● What will be included in the "look, think, act" components of your study.
● The participants to be recruited.
● Methods for data gathering.
● Anticipated outcomes and action.
● Any ethical or other challenges you anticipate.
Additional Requirements ● Prepare 1 PowerPoint slide or an infographic.
● Use the "Notes" function to explain your work and provide citations.
● Provide your reference list either in Notes or on a separate slide.
