8-1 Discussion: Sustainable Design

It is the hopes of many that the future of fashion will belong to clothes with a more moral principle. Designer Stella McCartney as well as several other designers are creating garments that are all in accordance with their organic-biological principles. As a society, we are very concerned with eating green (organic, local, etc.), but why do you think the idea of green fashion is less successful? What other fashion companies or designers can you identify as promoting this ecological and ethical trend?
