731 Strategic Plan

 

Select a school district or educational institution. 

Locate and read its most recently released strategic plan. 

Part 1: Summary 

• Explain the ways that the entire stakeholder community was involved in the development of the district strategic plan.
• Identify each of the five goals outlined in the strategic plan.  
• Describe each goal outlined in the school district or educational institution's strategic plan. 
• Summarize the importance of identifying appropriate funding sources for the district’s strategic plan. 
• Identify a specific grant relevant to the needs of the community. 

Note: Use the U.S. Department of Education website to research appropriate grant opportunities. 

Part 2: Graphic 

Create a table or chart that summarizes the following grant information:

• Goal (strategic plan)
• Grant number
• Title of grant
• Grant open and close date
• Reason grant was selected
