After completing the lecture and reading assignments, write a 2-page (minimum 500 words) response to the following task. Do not use the question in your response. Conduct your own workplace survey using Exhibit 4.2 as your guide. Interview at least two supervisory level persons in your organization about the types of recognition given in the organization and the frequency with which they are given. Then interview or survey at least four employees about the types and frequencies of recognition in the workplace. Use the mean scores (average) to determine your results, report the results and analyze the perceptual gap between the supervisors and subordinates.
