Within the Writing Center and Library tab, there is an application called "Grammarly", that I personally and highly recommend. Before I even began to think about Ashford University, I had already installed Grammarly into my devices just to proofread my corporate emails and simple forums we post on the job. I feel that this will be extremely beneficial especially since it does notify you of any errors when typing straight in the “REPLY” box during discussion posts. In addition, to Grammarly the Writing center also provides practice quizzes to review writing topics. In turn, I know that this will give me a refresher and make me more aware of correct and impactful writing.

Just a quick tidbit, a few coworkers of mine had been previously enrolled in Ashford and told me numerous times to take advantage of the Writing Center, especially highlighting on the university’s “Paper Review” portal. Now reading more into the resource, I see why and how it will help me during my time here at Ashford University. We have the capability to submit papers for revision for free and responses come within 24 hours from a writing consultant. I don’t know about you, fellow classmates, but I for one do not have much experience in APA style and it has been some time since I wrote more than just a quick email detailed email. Nevertheless, to know that there is a free tool, that according to the link not only provides concrete feedback but includes a “Revision List” highlighting on topics and errors, really gives me a confidence booster in terms of writing towards a masters. I know for certain, I will utilize this helpful tool when it comes to the many papers ahead. As they say, another set of eyes goes a long way, so to have a consultant read over my work and give me feedback will not only help in terms of Ashford, but I feel will follow me in the years to come. Yes, I did utilize the Writing Center for the reference below and would love some feedback from you all if it is incorrect.
