1. The path-goal theory helps individuals achieve their goals, remove any performance obstacles, and receive rewards periodically. The Vroom-Jago model has an emphasis on varying degrees of participative leadership and how each level of participation effects the quality and accountability of decisions. What components of the multiple-linkage model can be found in the path-goal theory and the Vroom-Jago model?

2. All teams at one time or another will have deficiencies. Leaders must patrol these deficiencies and be the first to take the needed corrective action. How the leader responds to discrepancies is an indicator of trust and respect among the entire team.
