 There tend to be two opposing views of HR in the working world. One viewpoint is that HR merely exists to push paper, document, and assist with the day-to-day management of the workforce (i.e., payroll, benefits, hiring, discipline, etc.). The other viewpoint is that HR has a place at the strategic planning table and are vital to decision making at the highest levels of the organization. Which viewpoint do you lean toward and why?
