Bradbury definitely turned some heads when he wrote a book about the burning of books! Books are symbolic for many reasons, and before the Internet and cell phones, they literally held knowledge and was how we received vital information. To burn a book was to burn everything! 

Directions: Read the poem "Burning a Book" by William Stratford, then answer the reflection and analysis questions at the bottom of the document in a complete paragraph response.
