500 Word Essay

Our textbook does a nice job explaining Douglas McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y as they apply to the effects of leadership behaviors on subordinates. Using your own personal and professional experiences, write a 500-word essay explaining your view of the source of power. Provide examples of each from your own experiences.

Include headings titled:

• Abstract
• Theory X
• Theory Y
• Connections to and power of co-creative power
• Conclusions and application

Use a minimum of three sources for this essay. Your textbook can serve as one of those sources. Your title page and your reference page are not included in the word count. Use APA style for in-text citations and your reference listings.
