Assignment Overview: This week, you will complete the process of choosing and validating your individual idea by refining through development.

• Assignment Direction: From your work last week on choosing and validating an idea, develop the idea from your individual work further. Compile the following information into a report that validates your chosen idea.

1. Idea – State your idea and explain why/how it solves the problem/gap/need for the environment/industry you are working in. Include support material for your solution, such as customer reviews of the problem/gap/need, your own research, or through journals and newspapers (a theme you’ve noticed that’s a problem/gap/need).
2. Compile the following information from your “testers.”
   • Present your idea to at least 10 different people that fits your market (the consumer you would be targeting for your idea). You will compile their feedback to the following questions:
   • If you’re able to have a mock-up or prototype of your product – great! If not, that’s okay, too. This week is just the start of your validation. Don’t prompt your testers by offering a sales pitch. Just present your idea/product to them and ask them what they think about it. You can prompt for further information, such as:
     1. Please explain your comment further
     2. What might make it better (even if they say they love it)
     3. How much would you pay for it
     4. An additional three questions related to your idea
   • Revise your idea based on the feedback from your “testers.”
   • Explain the reason of incorporating tester feedback.

• Minimum 3 pages. Include your list of questions asked as an appendix
