Required Reading - Justice, Chapter 5: Immanuel Kant

about 60 minutes

read "Chapter 5: Immanuel Kant" in our textbook: Michael Sandel's  Justice: What's the Right Thing to Do?

A few things to keep in mind as you read this chapter:

· What does Kant mean by "freedom"? (especially as compared to the libertarian use of freedom)

· What does Kant think about one's motive to action?

· What makes Kant different from a utilitarian?

Please create and submit  two questions from your reading for this module.

The format of the questions  must be true/false, multiple choice with 3+ answer choices,  or matching.

Each question must be in a different format. For example, you  cannot choose two true/false questions.

You must also submit the quote and page number from Sandel below the question as justification for the questions.

Each question  cannot share the same quotation from Sandel. In other words, the question cannot be the same in different formats.
