423 Cost/Price Analysis / Business Competencies

Forum Introduction:

This week we have a discussion between cost and price analysis.

Reference for this discussion:

Review sections 2.4 through 2.4.2 and 5.0 through 5.8 of your textbook. 

You  may also research in the university library, internet, or other  reputable sources to find material that could support your position.

Forum Question:

1.    What is the difference between cost and price analysis and when would you use the two when analyzing a contractor's proposal? 

2.    Explain  the significance of determining fair and reasonable prices during  analysis and negotiation phases; use a contract example.

1. Discuss two of the business competencies in your textbook and their importance when conducting negotiations.

Use  your textbook, university library, internet, or other reputable sources  to complete this assignment. Feel free to use your own experiences as  well.
