You are the HIM Director of a facility. You are looking for a new system for your department; however, you need to decide if you want to purchase items from your current vendor or if you want to follow a different approach. Prior to being able to submit an RFP to vendors, you need to think about a few things. Research the benefits and disadvantages of using a single vendor or going with the best of the breed. Then compare and contrast using a single vendor verses a best of breed approach.
