You are assigned the task of creating a project schedule for implementing a new accounting system at your office. Since this is your first time doing so, you ask Antonio, a more experienced co-worker for assistance. Antonio advises you that the best way to make sure that the project stays on schedule is to automatically add lead and lag to every activity. Do you agree with Antonio’s advice? Why or why not? When might adding lead and lag be effective in project scheduling? When might it be ineffective?

Last week you worked with your team to identify the tasks associated with installing several emergency call boxes on a 100-acre college campus.

Refer to the WBS that you created last week and complete the following:

• Identify the task dependencies.
• Assign dates and durations to each task and subtask.
• Assign human resources to each task and subtask.
• Create a Gantt chart illustrating the project tasks.
