Given this material, please discuss your thoughts about procedures where gang members or associates of gang members are apprehended based upon their immigration status and the concept of cities such as Chicago which have declared themselves "sanctuary cities" by refusing to enforce ICE regulations.   Given the stark contrast in views of illegal immigration and the material that we have discussed thus far in class, where do you see this country going with this issue and how do you see this vision impacting gangs in the United States.
