legal concepts as well as the difference between burglary and robbery statutes
Often, burglary and robbery are juxtaposed when being referred to by the victims of crime. For example, a victim will return home to find his or her personal belongings have been taken during a break-in wherein no one was present in the residence at the time. As a result, the victim will frequently state they have been “robbed.” There are stark differences between the offenses of trespass, criminal trespass, residential burglaries, and commercial burglaries. Develop an essay that discusses the significant differences between these legal concepts as well as the difference between burglary and robbery statutes. You may use examples as they relate to incidents that have occurred in the community you live in or an adjoining community.
