300 word discussion

Identify a problem or phenomenon and develop a topic of interest that they would like to research. Find a photograph that depicts the problem or struggle and provide a caption underneath the photo for explanation.

This form of research is qualitative in nature because it cannot be quantified; however, it can be used to bring awareness and/or recognition to problems and demonstrate the differences between quantitative and qualitative research. It also helps us to “See” why research is so important.

Please Note: Using pictures of other people without their knowledge, consent or approval is prohibited. None of the pictures should be provocative in nature, or contain profanity, vulgarity, or nudity. Photo stock, clip art, self-portraits, pictures of places, objects, structures/building cars, etc. are all fine and approved places to look for photos.

Finally, respond to the discussion question using the thread and upload the photo and caption. Also provide a short statement explaining why you chose the photo and the topic you plan to research. The instructor will provide feedback on your research topic followed by an activity in the module that will help you develop and narrow your topic down.

The discussion answer MUST include APA formatted references in the text of the discussion and a full APA formatted citation of the reference(s) used at the end of the discussion. Points will be deducted for lack of referencing. Discussions should be a minimum of 300 words.
