300 word blog post on California History

Citing this week's readings, PowerPoints, and the Cadillac Desert documentary, write a NON PLAGIARIZED blog reflection in your own words on California and the water needed for its residents and businesses. Be sure to have a controlling theme to your reflection in order to give it form (e.g., people vs. nature, the environment, conservation, engineering marvels, etc.). 

*The blog entry must be a minimum of 300 words and is due by 7/29 before 12:00 am PST*.

Read the following selections from chapters 7 and 9 in the ebrary book edited by Merchant:

       “A Writer Describes Irrigation Districts, 1897” (pp. 215-219)

       “Hydraulic Society Triumphant” (pp. 245-249)

       “John Muir on Saving Hetch-Hetchy Valley, 1910” (pp. 287-291)
