• What is logistics called in your company? Who is the senior logistics leader in your company?  What's their title?   Who's their boss?  Briefly discuss your thoughts on this organizational structure in regards to 1) cost efficiency and 2) service effectiveness.

Logistics in my company is called Logistics readiness. There are 3 people assigned inside this section. The senior leader is called the Logistics readiness officer. Because  I am in the military there is not really a cost efficiency however, I believe that the structure and the number of people in the office make the service very effective on the customer side as well as the functional side for my unit.
