3.3 Annotated Literature Review Outline

 The student will complete a 2-3 page annotated outline of your literature review section of your research paper. The structure of the outline will conform to the "Literature Review" section of the template provided.

Instructions:

• Write 2-3 sentences about each heading. The sentences should discuss the main purpose of each section of the paper and summarize what the paper will discuss. Discuss the main idea and the major contribution of each section. The section is not intended to present the details. This is the 35,000 foot view, not the street view.
• For each sub-heading, you will provide annotations/citations directly related to the topic sentence. Again, this is not the place for details. The details will be fleshed out in the paper.
• The outline should help you conceptualize the completed paper and make timely progress toward the paper’s completion.
• Add comments and explanations, citations of sources appropriate to each outline entry, information about each of the cited sources, and topic sentences.
• This assignment has a Title Page but NO Abstract or Table of Contents. A Reference page is needed for references used.
