question
Discuss similarities and differences between personality tests and integrity tests.
Student response
An integrity test is used when jobs need high trust and honesty, which could be a bank teller, security guard, or someone being vetted for a security clearance. A personality test has a wider range of performance measures, and is conducting the test over a huge range of jobs and companies. A few similarities with the two tests are fake responses are likely, there's a moderate degree of validation, and both use a survey to collect their data. One of the differences is an integrity test geared towards a certain trait, while the personality test casts a wider net.
