Short Essay: Global Stratification

Instructions

1. Read, study, and analyze Chapter 9 of your textbook.
2. Watch the following video to learn about social inequality:

3. Write a three-paragraph, one-page essay summarizing and analyzing what economist Dan Ariely says about inequality.
4. Include the following reference at the end of your essay:

5. Include in-text citations if you are referencing the information in the video, but you are not directly quoting the speaker. It should include the author’s last name and the year (Ariely, 2015). If you are directly quoting the video, then include an in-text citation with the timestamp. For example, Ariely, 2015, 0:32.
