2 questions:

QUESTION 1:
Last upload will be a review of the cultural event you attended in your assigned culture.  You can present this in any way you wish, writing, video, pictures or a combination of all.  I am particularly interested to hear:

- why you picked this event

-what the event was about

-how it spoke about the culture (if at all- some don't)

-how did the others at the event respond, feel, express

-how did you respond, feel express

-reflecting on the event - what were your take-a ways?

QUESTION 2: 

Time to tell us about your interview.  Let us know the important information about who you interviewed and provide us with a review of the interview.  I do not want to have a transcript but your insights on the interview- what you learned about the culture and about the person you were speaking with. 

Remember- your interview is supposed to improve our interaction with this particular culture and so you should be honest about that upfront and gear your questions to that.  I sometime have students get caught up and then talk about food and clothes, when really we want to know about how their culture impacts our help-seeking profession. 

I would like some of the following things said about the interview:

- how did the interviewee respond (open, hard to speak with etc?)

-what were some of the most important things they said about their culture and why did you think so?

-when reflecting on the interview: how might you use what you have learned to interact with that particular culture?

-what would you tell your classmates about interacting and problem-solving with this culture
