The possibility of a power outage seems to grow every year because of demand and an aging infrastructure. What can/should companies do to mitigate this risk?

The management could compare the potential damage of power outage with the loss of running the company within the capacity that will avoid power outage to see which way will have a better impact on the company. 

Also, the management could also compare the cost of replacing the aged infrastructure with the damage of the power outage to see which one has a better outcome.
