150 words writing about threats to sea turtles

In this discussion board, you will research and reflect on threats to sea turtles that occur at or near nesting beaches, and solutions to these threats. Please respond to the following prompts:

1. Threat summary:

• Pick one (1) threat to sea turtles at or near nesting beaches, and describe that threat.
• Your summary should be approximately 50 words.
• Add a short title of what threat you have chosen at the beginning of your summary (e.g., 'Poaching Sea Turtle Eggs:'). 
• In picking your threat, be sure to look at what your group mates have posted, and there may only be two summaries of the same threat within a group.  In other words, if there is one post about poaching of sea turtle eggs, you may also do a summary of that threat; if there are already two posts, you must do a summary of a different threat.
• Include a photo if you can find one! 

2. Solutions: 

• For the threat you have chosen, discuss a potential solution to that threat. It may be one you have found in your research, that was mentioned in the video or podcast, or one that you have come up with yourself!
• Your summary should be approximately 50 words.
• Add a short title of what solution you have chosen at the beginning of your summary (e.g., 'Beach Patrols:'). 
• Include a photo if you can find one!

3. Critical considerations:

• For the solution you have chosen, discuss the things that will be critical to consider to make sure that your solution is both effective and equitable. Consider biological,  social and cultural elements that you think might be crucial. These can things that you have researched or were mentioned in the video or podcast, and I particularly encourage you to include considerations that draw from your other courses or your personal experience or knowledge!
