You mentioned that "many people may argue that school boards have no direct impact on student learning outcome; it remains skewed thinking." Why do you think so and how would you counter Chingos, Whitehurst, and Lindquist's (2014) arguments?

I'm not in disagreement with you, and I would like to think that school leadership play more of a role in student achievement than what Chingos, Whitehurst, and Lindquist claim. However, I would like to challenge you to provide scholarly evidence to counter their point.
