7.3 Global Problem Research Project—Final Paper Submission

This assignment also assesses the following Program Outcomes and General Education Career Competencies:

· PO1: Articulate complex concepts to a targeted audience in written and oral form. (Written only) (Aligns to GECC1.1-1.2)

· PO2: Analyze the influence of cultural diversity when addressing global issues.

· PO4: Evaluate perspectives of an ethical dilemma and present evidence-based solutions.

· GECC1.2: Deliver written communication with appropriate content, organization, syntax, mechanics, and style for the audience and purpose.

Before you are ready to submit, make sure to follow all of the steps in the  Module 7 Presentation  closely.  In addition, make sure to review the  scope  of the project.

Submit

Make sure your final submission meets the requirements for the paper as discussed in  Module 5 Presentation Part II . 

1. Abstract (250 words)

2. Introduction (150-250 words, less than 1 page)

A. Provide an overview outlining the significance of the issue related to your field of study.

B. Include your  thesis statement (argument about your proposed solution) as the last sentence of the intro.

3. Literature Review section (5-6 pages or 1,250-1,500 words)

A. This is based on the literature review you submitted in Module 4; be sure to improve it by integrating feedback from your instructor.

B. This section must include an evaluation of at least 2 sources that address cultural diversity and at least 2 ethical perspectives in the existing literature.

C. Conclude this section with a concise statement of the problem based on the literature.

4. Proposed Solution section (5-7 pages or 1,250-1,750 words)

A. Advocate for the most equitable, ethical solution to meet the needs of humanity.

B. Draw on scholarly sources from the previous section to substantiate your position.

C. Please note: the solutions should be your own ideas in your own writing.

5. Conclusion (150-250 words)

6. Reference List in APA format

In addition, your final submission must include:

· A title page with a title

· Headers and page numbers

· Proper spelling, grammar, and syntax

· In-text citations, reference list, and all paper formatting in the current version of APA

· Transitions and topic sentences between paragraphs and sections
