Must write research paper on one of two literary movements: American Naturalism, or American Realism. 

*****-The paper cannot be JUST on the HISTORY of the movements. Develop an original thesis that looks at the topic in an interesting way *****

If you are doing American Realism research on these authors so you know where to start: Mark Twain, William Dean Howells, Amborse Bierce 

If you are doing American Naturalism: Stephen Crane, Theodore Dresier, Jack London 

Please remember this is not a paper where you explain what the literary movement is. Develop an original thesis about the movement and go on from there.
