1. Submit a case description (preferably one from your internship placement that you are or will be involved with). Identify and prioritize client needs. Then prioritize client needs. Discuss in writing the strengths and struggles of identifying these needs.

2. Interview a professional (on the phone) in a helping field. Ask the professional about his or her experiences with teamwork and collaboration (with clients, co-workers, and personnel in other agencies). Ask him or her to identify the keys to having a good working relationship.

3. Write a description of a memorable experience working with a team. Examine any strengths and barriers to the teamwork you described using the following concepts:

• communication
• values
• identity
• territory
• procedure
• allocation of resources
• competency
• goals
