Although still second to Christianity in number of adherents (barely) Islam is the world's fastest growing religion.  Last year the most popular name given to new born baby boys in the United Kingdom (Great Britain) was Mohammad, which reflects the growing popularity of Islam there.  Even with the events of 9-11, the growing threat of ISIS, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda, and the publicized mistreatment of women, Islam is on the rise in the United States as well.   

How do you explain the growing popularity of Islam outside the Middle East?  Explain your answer.
