For students electing to do the listening assignment:
Listen to a complete recording of a major classical work and write a report about it (the same as if you attended a concert.) This report should be no longer than the concert reports (so roughly up to two page - double-spaced.) Some recommended examples are listed below (be sure to include all movements):
