Note: This is a 2-part assignment. If you are in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) or Doctor of Healthcare Administration (DHA) Program, please only complete Part 1. If you are in the Doctor of Education (EDD) or Doctor of Management (DM) Program, please complete Parts 1 and 2.

Part 1: All Students

Write a brief statement indicating your degree program and the research topic you are considering.

Submit your Part 1 assignment.

Part 2: EDD and DM Students

If you are in the EDD or DM programs, include your intended elective track for your program in your brief statement. For example, if you are currently in the EDD with an Educational Leadership (EL) elective track, you can choose an elective track in Curriculum and Instruction (CI), Education Technology (ET), or Higher Education Administration (HEA).

 

Note: If your Student Service Administrator has not already contacted you, please download the appropriate form and complete it.

Once your form is completed and submitted, a Student Service Administrator will contact you via email 2-3 weeks before the start of DOC/714S to confirm your elective track (if you requested a change) and adjust your schedule to reflect your elective track. If you have not yet determined the best elective track and wish to discuss options, please contact your Academic Advisor and Associate Dean as appropriate for your program for further consultation. Your Doctoral Faculty can only discuss the program and track alignment to the topic and will not be able to provide career advice or trajectory.
