Evaluation Method
The four types of evaluation that can utilized for groups are planning, monitoring, developing
and effectiveness and efficiency. The evaluation method that I would use with my group would be the
monitoring method. The monitoring method refers to being able to keep track of the progress that each
individual group member is making as well as group process (Toseland and Rivas, 2017). With certain
challenges that I felt existed in my group, the monitoring evaluation method would be absolutely
perfect. Matter of fact now that I think about it, towards the end of the project the monitoring
evaluation method was definitely utilized for sure. Being able to make decision as to what information
should be collected would be the first step of monitoring. Making a decision as to how the information
would be collected would be the next step. “Data can be collected by administering questionnaires; by
asking for verbal feedback about the group from members;” (Toseland & Rivas, 2017). Something I
would do is make it my duty and priority to ask my fellow group members for verbal feedback. Asking
my group for verbal feedback will be effective in regard to being able to assess the progress being made
by the group members. To be effective as group, I would like to know what my fellow groups are both
satisfied and dissatisfied about. In addition to that I would also want their opinion on utilizing certain
interventions in regard to the things that they are dissatisfied about. I believe that evaluation can also
greatly assist being improve and build great leadership skills.
Identify something you might have changed during this process and describe what you could have
done differently.
Honestly, there is nothing during this process that I would have changed nor is there anything
that I would have done differently. If I had to do it all over again, which I pray and hope I do not have, I
would be everything the exact same way. Despite the challenges my group and I were able to persevere
and hold together in order to get the project done. I believe that the challenges faced during

completing this project as taught to be more patient as well as improving my time management and
procrastination. Overall, I really did enjoy working with the ladies that were in my group and I feel as
though I did learn a lot from them.
