Instructions: You are tasked with developing a security governance framework for a
telecommunications company that manages a large-scale network infrastructure. Write a seven
to nine-page paper addressing the following questions:
1. Develop a governance structure for the cybersecurity of the telecommunication network.
Discuss the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders, regulatory compliance, and
collaboration with industry partners.
2. Propose security measures for securing the telecommunication network infrastructure.
Discuss strategies for protecting critical network components, ensuring network
availability, and preventing cyber-attacks on telecommunications services.
3. Evaluate the company's practices for protecting customer data and privacy. Recommend
measures to ensure the confidentiality of communication, secure storage of customer
information, and compliance with data protection regulations.
4. Develop a training program for telecom employees to enhance awareness of network
security best practices. Discuss the importance of recognizing and responding to
security incidents, as well as safeguarding network infrastructure.
5. Develop an incident response plan specifically tailored for cybersecurity incidents
affecting the telecommunication network. Discuss coordination efforts with regulatory
authorities, communication strategies, and steps to minimize the impact of incidents on
network services.
