The purpose of the IT change management process is to control and document the entire
cycle of all changes from beginning to end in a project. Proper change management enables
revisions to be made with minimum disruption to IT services. Without implementing change
management, a department or individual could make a single variation on the IT network and
drastically affect other department’s duties. Conducting change management ensures that all
stakeholders are made aware of any IT infrastructure modifications that could potential cause
