The three service models offered by cloud providers offer different resources for
different use cases. There are different reasons why you would chose one over the
other. IaaS offers the full virtual machine. The cloud provider does not give any
software but only the storage, memory and CPU. Your company would then need
to install its specific software like databases or applications. With PaaS the
company offers a base resource, this can generally be a database, elastic search or
big data. The company offers the the software needed for you to connect to the
resource to configure it and use it. The last resource is SaaS. The examples for this
is salesforce, slack and ERP application. This is useful for companies because they
