Threat modeling is a checklist of potential risks, problems that can and will arise, and having
measures in place to avoid or prevent the threats to systems. Bradley (1) stated in an article
that threat modeling is part of the foundation needed to build secure software and helps to
identify potential risks. In this case, using threat modeling to secure my residence can seem
simple but it actually was quite the challenge.!
