Qualitative and quantitative assessments use data to obtain a risk's impact value. And
therefore, qualitative assessment uses un-statistical and unstructured data, whereas
quantitative assessment uses statistical and structured data to obtain the impact value.
The second similarity of the Qualitative and quantitative assessment is the desire to
achieve the organization's goals by identifying risks that are a threat to an organization
and providing the needed corrections in a project hence reducing the negative impacts of
risk in the organization's processes (StarAgile, 2021). An example of a qualitative
assessment is observation. The non-statistical data is obtained by observing people in
the study environment ("Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment Methods," 2021).
However, people's behavior changes when they notice they are being observed. And
therefore, a discrete professional is needed to conduct an observation assessment. The
