CIS105
This course provides a foundational overview of the types of crimes and terrorist acts committed
using digital technology. Students will explore information technology, computing networks and the
Internet in a criminal justice context. Topics include the theories addressing digital criminals and an
overview of legal strategies and tactics targeting digital crime. Fundamental research skills in the
investigation of digital crime and terrorism also will be explored.
