Initial Topic Proposal - Pay for Games & NCAA Acquisition Issues
As a collegiate basketball coach, I've seen an increase in NCAA recruiting infractions
over the past 20 years, and not only in sports. Recruits are frequently compensated by coaches,
supporters, and alumni in the form of cash, homes, automobiles, or other benefits. I want to do
additional study on pay-for-play in all collegiate categories (1,NAIA, JUCO, etc.)
A number of occurrences of advertising irregularities in all sports within the NCAA, and
I wonder if there would no longer be concerns with the NCAA and coaches if players began to
get lawful payment. When there are infractions, the coaches are typically terminated, the
programs are barred from playoff participation, and even scholarships are lost. The professional
athletes in the nation are being sought after by colleges and universities around the nation, and
major institutions have various methods. I do assume that professional sportsmen should indeed
be compensated at all levels of play. Families that struggle to afford education before and across
those four years might learn much from it. The players continue to suffer challenges despite the
fact that they left the establishments, which is another component of the crimes. Reggie Bush
(USC Football) and DeAndre Ayton are various latest instances of this (Arizona Basketball).
These would be interesting cases to research further. Even a series about Reggie Bush's situation,
as far as I know.
