Considering a Venue
Just a few comfort stores—a Dollar General, the Pierre Part shop, a huge family-run
supermarket and supply shop, a drugstore, and two banks—are located in our little Louisiana
town. The first financial is a modest local bank, but the other bank is a Capital One Bank. To be
quite honest, it's unusual to see anything so far from civilization. The benefits of this Capital One
facility include the possibility to put a bigger, recognized bank on the side of local fisherman and
other small businesses, increased loan possibilities for those people, and the ability to
communicate more effectively with other branches of well-known banks. One of its drawbacks is
that a number of those with more well-established companies could pick a more modest,
friendlier, locally owned bank. In general, it's beneficial to have a bank close to home with a
wider number of locations for when you travel.
