After watching Digital Nation, how do you think Social Media is affecting our kids and
our society, in both positive and the negative ways. Please remember to post your
original post and your two responses.
We believe that social media has fundamentally altered how the world works and
what is now expected of us. Kids are severely impacted because they no longer
desire to have talks outside of school and are too preoccupied with what they are
seeing to remember to go outdoors and play games. One advantage is that, with
proper supervision, youngsters can find answers to any questions their parents
may have or figure out how to construct anything using a basic video. Social
media has a negative impact on society since people can no longer concentrate
on a task because they have several things going on in their heads and
distractions are readily available. One advantage is that people may communicate
and work from home from anywhere in the world, which allows parents to care for
their children while simultaneously taking care of their home environment.
