Research Queson One: Are there dierences in the average agreement with homosexual
individuals having the right to marry one another among people who were interviewed in
dierent geographic regions of the United States?
Write a possible corresponding for this research queson. Your research hypothesis
response should be about 25 words in length.
The average of agreement varies amongst people within the dierent geographic
regions of the United States regarding someone's right to marry if they idenfy as gay.
Select the appropriate for this research queson. Your response should inferenal test
be about 25 words in length.
The most appropriate inferenal test, considering the data, is an ANOVA. This test
allows us to easily run a comparison of the data from all regions surveyed.
Jusfy your choice of inferenal test for this research queson, including how the scales
of measurement aect this decision. Your response should be about 25 to 50 words in
length.
The rst research queson has mulple groups of likert-type scale data. Using ANOVA
allows us to easily compare the variance when we need to compare data of more than
two groups at once. In this case, we are comparing the variances of the dierent regions
of the United States.
