The use of organizational culture can overcome resistance, at least in part. If this change
strengthens a culture's underlying values, it is more likely that members of culture accept the
change. The use of cultural rituals and sagas helps an organization's perception of change.
(Scholarworks, n.d.) A powerful culture protects organizations against changes in the
environment and gives their values the stability needed for long-term survival. These
organizations can adapt quickly to the changes encountered and find the strength to resist their
values. (ala.org, n.d.)
Corporate culture is changing as it helps to focus on the "people" side. You can leave the
existing culture and start working on good things, and then change what is needed together. This
works far better than to ignore culture or to suggest that the current culture is mistaken when a
default change management program is being carried out. Instead, allow your leadership to
change with surprising people. (Bremer, M. 2020)
I am ready to change, as change is a common part of life, especially in this swift pace of
the world. I know it could be hard and frightening, but often a good and worthwhile change.
Change gives us an opportunity to learn new things that we don't usually learn the old way.
